Winter Wellness Detox Soup

With fiber-rich green veg, mineral-heavy TR broth, and oomph from anti-inflammatory Turmeric Chile Honey Syrup, this soup-meets-smoothie-meets-tonic is both healthful and a cinch to make. Just one soothing shot fuels our body, mind, and soul while powering through the busy Maine winter.

Winter Wellness Detox Soup

Yield: 2 1/2 cups


2 cups (~5 ounces) packed broccoli florets, roughly chopped
1 stalk celery, roughly chopped
1 large clove garlic, roughly chopped
1 jar/2 cups Turtle Rock or other serious broth, veggie or meaty
3/4 teaspoon kosher salt, or to taste (optional)
2 cups (~1 1/2 ounces) loosely packed spinach
2 1/2 tablespoons Turtle Rock Turmeric Chile Honey Syrup

1) Toss broccoli, celery, garlic, and broth together in small saucepan. Cover and bring to a boil. Drop to a gentle simmer and cook, covered, for 6 minutes.

2) Pour mix into blender/Vitamix/food processor along with salt, spinach, and syrup. Blitz till liquid and vibrantly green.

3) Pour into a warm mug, bowl, or shot glass, depending on how you take it. Any leftover soup can be refrigerated and reheated for up to three days.
